It contains Olsson’s famous Sea Salt Flakes that have been infused with the seductive, earthy character of truffle. Olsson’s use Australian grown Black Perigord Truffles to flavour their salt meaning there are no harsh after-tastes that often appear with synthetic truffle flavouring. It also means that this is a seasonal product (generally available from August to December) and, as a result, supply is limited. Olsson’s Sea Salt Flakes are made using the pristine sea waters of the Great Australian Bight and the warmth of the Australian sun. Hand harvested, the flakes are medium in size, free from chemicals and preservatives and retain an exceptional sea salt taste that will enhance almost all dishes.
